Neat. I looked at the other gallery you had on pbase.. you have /used a Fuji S5000? Are the specks starting on the 5th frame were stars or just noise. I snapped a few images of that eclipse: http://kommy.net/~un/onset/lunar_eclipse/ and did not see any stars.. but that could just be the cloud conditions and city light pollution here. Does that camera have noise reduction? I would imagine the hour or so the camera was left on added heat noise to the later frames.
