Default Mamiya G2 (?) bellows lens hood question

I just repaired (renewed the bellows) my Mamiya bellows lens hood - it
is for RB 67 Pro-S. It is probably G2 or older version. Definitely not a G3.

When I look at the hood (as if I were in front of the camera) I see the
text "Mamiya" and "JAPAN" below it. There is a screw just above the
"Mamiya" text. Now, I'd like to know what are the two small screws/holes
1" right and 1" left of that center screw? Should there be a similar
rail as in the sides?

And what might be the best way to store this lens hood when not used:
fully extended, fully retracted or something in between?

Best regards,
Severi Salminen
