Default Critique on my photography.

hello,

i am an amateur photographer who likes to take pictures for fun while
travelling. i've created a website for some of my images at

http://www.princeton.edu/~pgupta

i would appreciate it if you can take a look at some of them and offer
tips/techniques/advice for improvement. any sort of constructive
criticism you can provide will be helpful.

i also want to learn how to take pictures of mountain ranges and do
night-time photography. can you point me to some www links where the
"technical" aspects are discussed. i.e. what kind of camera settings
(aperture/priority, etc,), whether to use a polarizer, moose filter
etc. etc., lighting conditions to take into account. i've been
searching around but nothing interesting has come up yet. someone
suggested reading "inner game of outdoor photography" by galen rowell.
i read a few of his essays but they weren't that helpful as i'm still
trying to fine-tune my camera skills. i guess this book was more on
aesthetics side.

thanks for your time/help.
