What lenses for the Technika (V) of at least 135mm have good coverage _and_
fit so that the front closes? By good coverage, I mean enough for
significant movements.

On the shorter side you're probably limited to
Schneider/Rodenstock/Fuji/Nikon f/5.6 optics in 135mm or 150mm.

In a little longer focal length I have a 200mm Nikkor-M f/8 that's
WONDERFUL and fits into a Linhof SuperTech III with ease. So I suspect
it'd fit in to your V. This lens is a jewel of an optic. Highly
recommended for hoisting over one's shoulder while carrying a Linhof Tech.

If you don't mind removing the rear lens cap when closing the clamshell,
I was able to fit a Fuji 240mm - A f/9 into an old SuperTechIII. Here
too, I suspect it'll fit into your V.

I hope this helps.

The 150mm G Claron and180mm Fujinon A would also be good choices.

In classic lenses, the 203mm f7.7 Ektar and 9 1/2" Red Dot Artar might work.

I don't have a Technika, so I don't know if it will fold up with a lens
mounted in a Copal No. 1 shutter. If it will, there are a number of compact
210s that might work (210mm f6.1 Xenar/Caltar Pro, 210mm f5.6 Fujinon L,
210mm f6.8 Rodenstock Geronar) and even a couple compact 300s (Nikkor M and
Fujinon C). I'd recommend verifying this with a Tech user before pursuing
any of these. They all are reasonably compact and take 52mm, 49mm or 46mm
filters - I just have no way to personally verify if they'll fold up iside a
Tech V.

At one time I had a factory mounted Rodenstock Apo-Ronar 240 MC that came in
a Copal 1 and closed up in my Tech V.
