the points system. That's when you find it hader to find a job, to get
a raise or find a decent place to live at a price you can afford.

Nah. I already made Enemy of the State and Not a Real American because
I knew that the claim that Saddam had WMD and a nuclear weapons program
were pure fiction. They haven't come for me yet.

people who don't toe the official line re global warming. There is
potential for things to get particularly nasty when the government has
the ability to set politically accepted norms and then upgrade or down
grade people according to the extent to which their actions conform to
the norms. Talk about social pressure!

who deny Newtonian mechanics, General Relativity, Darwinian evolution,
and the germ theory of disease, e.g., risk discrimination when it comes
to getting positions in academia and in obtaining grants. There just
isn't much demand for scientists who believe that apples fall downward
due to the influence of magical elves--that hypothesis has been tested
and rejected. This is why science progresses rather than regresses.

There is

Let's not argue about the details. Just look at the way that people
(including scientists) who disagree with any part of the dogma are
