The Cokin “P” holder for 84x84mm filters at 11mm shows on the horizontal edges, so the zoom has to be limited to 14mm with that holder. Otherwise with anything wide “huge” lens, going to the larger “Z-Pro” 100 x 100mm holder, or the Lee 100 x 100mm / 150 x 150mm will work well. -- Regards, Savageduck |

You can't really hope for more than 24MP from them until the end of the decade. You have repeatedly expressed your fabless for heavy crops, but you do start from 36MP files... -- teleportation kills |

I doubt that Peter would like the reduced crop room with the current Fuji sensor. That isn’t the way he works. I am just proposing alternatives in the wide arena. Also most folks don’t go applying severe crops to images intentionally captured with wide, or ultra wide lenses. That is something of a pointless exercise. If you are going wide the biggest change is usually to aspect ratio rather than severe crop. My most severe crops have been made when I haven’t had quite enough reach, and I suspect that is where Peter makes his heaviest crops to create the illusion of greater reach than he had for the shot. -- Regards, Savageduck |
