USB cable transfer problems with Canon S80
I'm having an odd recurring issue -- I have a 609MB movie on a 1GB SD
card in my Canon S80, and it won't drag into any folders when I plug the camera into the computer. Or rather, it drags, but results only in a 0MB "ghost file." It's not a drive space issue, either -- I have plenty of room. I don't have a card reader handy at the moment or I'd just try that route, but was wondering in the meantime if anyone else has had this problem, and if you have learned why it happens. |

No, but that's because I don't use a system that tries to move the file from the camera to the computer - I use card readers exclusively. And I recommend card readers over trying to go directly from the camera in all cases. -- Bill Funk replace "g" with "a" |
