Nikon Coolpix P4 lack of optical viewfinder
I am considering buying the Nikon Coolpix P4. Everything that I've read
about the Coolpix P4 sound great - except for its lack of an optical viewfinder. I currently have a Kodak 3.1 megapixel EasyShare. The view screen on the Kodak isn't very visible in bright light conditions but it also has an optical viewfinder so that really isn't a problem. I'm looking for advice from someone who owns the Nikon P4. Has the lack of an optical viewfinder ever been a problem for you, or is it clearly visible in all lighting conditions? Thanks in advance for any advice. Regards, Roberta |

It is a problem in some situations, but the other outstanding features render the lack less important in the constellation of decision pairs. If the Coolpix P4 holds up well in image quality and controllability, I'd not hesitate. -- Frank ess |
