need wedding photog
[no, not for me]
I am trying to convince my cuz to hire a photog who uses digital still cameras, film video would be fine I guess, as it could be transferred to DVD. Perhaps, the video should be digital as well? Anyway, I am having a hard time finding wedding photogs in NYC. Google&Yahoo dont list too many. What equipment should I look for the photog to use? Nikon or Canon DSLR with 4+mp shooting RAW? Can the photog be expected to provide a CD/DVD of all photos to choose enlargements/prints? Or do photogs keep digital files as they do negatives? |

Don't worry about what equipment they use, worry about the results. I would rather have a top photographer using a one time use camera than a dunce using the best professional digital. Negatives or prints can be scanned and made into a DVD if you like. -- Joseph Meehan 26 + 6 = 1 It's Irish Math |

Ask the photographers to show their portfolios with examples of what they did at other weddings. Alan |
