I was very much turned off by the fact that so many photos were tilted (not
deliberately) and you did not correct them. Careless, sloppy, or what
other excuse do you have? Off-kilter photography is a sure sign of
amateurishness.

Hi Chris

Very hard subject, were they your friends? I like the ones of the bride
in profile. Were the bride and groom happy, thats all that counts in
the long run. Suggest you read the books by Bill Hurler

I noticed quite a few photos were tilted, but I was not sure if that was
intended as an "effect" or not! The photos were only displaying at 350
pixels max so were barely more than a large thumbnail, so it was not that
easy to check the overall quality easily.

For some reason I often seem to have to correct my own photos by about 1
degrees counter-clockwise, but it's not very often I need to apply a
clockwise correction.

Hi.

Not bad for what I assume was a first attempt.

You do seem to take an lot from the 5ft 6ins position, quite often causing
foreshortening.

You also need to learn how to use Fill Flash, there are shadows on too many
of the faces. If using Flash, remember to get a swivelling bracket so that
the Flash Head is above the lens in both Portrait and Landscape orientation.

Post processing is required to enliven a lot of what seem to be straight off
the Camera shots.

Not bad for a first time.

Were you actually running all around in the church during a Catholic
Mass? Absolutely not done.

Well, that's up to the priest (or more likely the Executive Nun), isn't it? At
my granddaughter's First Communion the Executeve Nun made it very clear in
advance just what was and wasn't allowed. Nobody even dreamed of arguing or
pushing the rules much.

Many churches (mine included) do not allow flash (or any other extra
artificial light) during services.

You need to learn formal bridal photography.
