SB-16 Nikon Flash ? Blinking and in F3 Finder
I just bought a used SB 16. It is always blinking, and ready light in
viewer of F# is too! I shot a roll of test film and find it to work fine. Is this correct? Thanks for any help, Jay |

Thanks for any help, Jay Sounds like something might be wrong. It might blink for a short time when you first flip the ON switch, but should then be a steady light. Check near the bottom of this page: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/nikonf3ver2/flash/sb16ab/manual/index1.htm The note states: "With the SB.16A and F3-series cameras; IF both ready-lights blink make sure that: a. The flash unit is securely locked In place. b. The film speed setting on the camera is within the usable range when the flash unit is used in the TTL mode." You might want to try it again, or at least read up more. If you don't have the manual for the SB-16, this site should cover most of the settings. Ciao!
