Inconspicous Camera Straps
A while ago (20 years?) when I had a Olympus OM-1 I had a great, round,
brown nylon braided strap with no brand naming on it at all. It was either an Olympus or a Nikon product. I now have a Canon 5D and I dislike both the "Canon Digital" markings, the conspicuous red colouring (I don't want to advertise) and the thickness. Can anyone advise if a quality discreet camera strap is available? |

Op/tech makes some neoprene ones that are spoken of pretty highly, too. All are available at any photo store or online from several retailers, like B&H, Adorama and KEH. -- Skip Middleton http://www.shadowcatcherimagery.com |

I'm sure it would work just fine on the 5D. It has the Canon name stamped on it but no one can really see it. Very comfortable. http://www.canoncompanystore.com/epa...ail=6255A003AA -- jer email reply - I am not a 'ten' |

Can anyone advise if a quality discreet camera strap is available? I really like the Tamrac N-25 and use it on all my camera bodies, slr and dslr. I've never even taken my Nikon digital straps out of their wrappers to look at them. The reason I like the Tamrac over the Optech someone else recommended is that I prefer the nylon strap method of attaching to the camera body AND appreciate the quick release latches for when I want to use it on a tripod. The Tamrac straps are usually about $20 but the most recent one I bought was $10 (new). And there is NO printing on the neckstrap portion and just a tiny logo near the body attachment point. |

vacation trip and came home with a piece if clothesline attached to the cameras strap eyes with big paper clips! -- "Don't believe everything you think." |
