Plywood and dado blade
I think the OP's confusion is probably the fault of Leitz...they make
circular saw blades (but not dado blades)...probably make some other stuff too. "Roland Karlsson" wrote in message ... "bobsdad" wrote in : I'm planning an entertainment center using maple plywood. The finish ... Muhahah ... this was the best post here in many moons. Keep it up! /Roland |

Plywood and dado blade
Whatever Dado set you end up with, get one with shims or spacers of various
thicknesses. They are invaluable to get precise fits. I have the Freud set that comes in a nice red plastic holder. Not sure what it is exactly called but it cost about $90. Some of us camera bugs are also woodworking bugs. Ed "bobsdad" wrote in message ... I'm planning an entertainment center using maple plywood. The finish will be clear laquer and the doors will be rail and stile with 1/4" maple plywood panels. Should I be looking for 2 sided veneer and what core for both the 3/4 and 1/4"? I am also thinking of upgrading my dado blade for the unisaw and am curious about what would be a quality blade. Sorry if these questions have already been posted but I can't seem to download all of the posts past 300 using Outlook express or I would have done a more thorough search. |
