If you are interested, you should also read

I read this many years ago and have never forgotten it.

Page not found. '-(

works fine.

Here is what Amazon has to say about that on my Mac:
"404-Document not found. We're sorry. The Web address you entered is
not a functioning page on our site "

i was assuming he tried the original link, not the amazon link, which
is clearly not complete, so it's not surprising it won't work.

if it's not clickable then there's almost certainly going to be
something wrong.

It appears to have an extraneous "r" on the end.

Try:

I'm sorry nospam, I don't know how you found it but it is completely
the wrong page. To make matters worse, at the time of writing the
Denver Post was down. :-(

I've already reposted the correct site in a reply to PeterN.

that's a different link.

the amazon link was obviously broken in your original post and wouldn't
work without needing to try it, especially since it was missing the
http:// prefix so there was no clickable link. if it's not clickable,
it's broken.

That's what I said: it somehow was truncated before I sent it.

Now how do you reconcile what you just posted, with your response to me.

Sorry about that. It seems to have got itself truncated before I even
sent it. Try

It looks like an interesting book. Strange, that link was not blocked by
my ISP. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the link.
