CF to CD/DVD

This is off-topic for the MF group, but there are a lot of photographically
knowledgeable people here, so I'll ask anyway.

Is anybody successfully using a portable device to copy images from CF cards
to CD, or preferably, DVD? What are your experiences? Any "gotchas"?
