True optical zoom coming to HTC smartphone cameras

"Optical zooming in a smartphone is not too far off at all for HTC,"

An advance perhaps, but the tagline to the article:
"Time to ditch that heavy DSLR? Maybe in a year, year and a half"

And then in the article:
