I was under the impression that the efficiency of current colour sensors was about 40-60%, compared with 90+% for some monochromatic sensors? In any case, sensitivity to colours does not mean the thing can descriminate as to which colour was which, I'd like to see how they do this, but I'm sure if it is a major breakthrough, Kodak isn't really to reveal how unless they have full patents.
