Default What point and shoot has the least lag time.

In the market for a new point-and-shoot for my candid photography.
Anybody got some recommendations?

Actually, this may be a fairly good place to ask.
Most DSLR users who own smaller pocket cams are very attuned to issues like
shutter lag, and often have good advice on this sort of thing.
Point-and-shooters are often so used to crappy performance that their
concept of a "quick" shutter is one that only makes you wait a half-second
instead of a full second.
