SD adaptors for CF - in camera?
In article , Alan Browne
writes Looking to get and standardize on SD cards for photography. However my 7D and a900 take CF. Is there a reliable adaptor that will work in-camera? Without protrusion? http://www.camerahacker.com/Forums/D...e=Storage/What ..s_inside_a_SD_Card_to_CF_adapter. States that to have no protrusion, a type II is needed (no issue). OTOH, there is this widget: http://www.delkin.com/products/adapt.../sd-to-cf.html Any experience, in camera, with such? I haven't, but there's a link to a review on the page that you cited. The reviewer tested it with a few 16GB SDHC cards. Sounds like the adapter is 3x slower than the fairly fast CF card he compared it to, irrespective of the SD card speed. So, if you fire of lots of bursts then you might encounter more stoppages while the buffer flushes with the adapter than with a native CF card. -- Kennedy Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed; A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's ****ed.
