Default Q: Fixing up a Sputnik

Are kits still available for this monster to cut down the internal
reflections, etc.? If not, where is a good source of flocking?

You could use black adhesive velvet, it works pretty well. But I think
that the 35mm Stereo Realist is actually better than the Sputnik:

I meant the roll film Sputnik.

Where can I get black adhesive velvet from?

From a hardware shop (the ones when you buy tools, screwdrivrs, etc, I
don't know the exact name in English) or from an art shop I guess.

Regards,

I tried the biggest store in Munich (Kaufhof) to no avail. They said to
buy black velvet and stick it down. I don't like that idea because I
think loose fibres will get on the film.

I know of a big hardware store not far away so I might try that. I
might end up using Emery cloth.

Well, adhesive velvet has this problem too.

This is a very good idea! Please let us know how it turns out.

I got some from "Toom" in Munich which is a very big hardware store. No
need to use Emery cloth, though they had that as well.
