Nope. You can get one for $100US to $250US plus shipping on Ebay. That's
about $125CN to $310CN.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...41121 63&rd=1
~$200US for a Canon Pro90 with Image stabilization ($246CN)
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...4921 381&rd=1
~$250US for an Olympus C-755 ($310CN)
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...4273 591&rd=1
~$150US for an Olympus C-700 (currently at $102.50US) ($127 to $185CN)

Etc., etc.

Do an Ebay search on an Olympus C-700 series camera and you'll find dozen
between $100 and $250US.

Search on "Olympus (C700, C-700, C720, C-720, C730, C-730, C740, C-740)"
with out the quotes. Set a minimum price of $80 to get rid of much of the
accessories for these cameras.

a) Quoting prices for auctions that haven't ended is pretty pointless,
don'tcha think?
b) $150 Canadian is $121 USD, well below the prices you quoted.

I did quote prices for unended auctions; that's true. But I also quoted
prices based on completed auctions. Also I think after selling about 1000
items on Ebay and buying over 100, I can estimate with reasonable accuracy
where the average auction will end. So in spite of your protest, my
"quoting prices that haven't ended..." is far from pointless.

b) $150 Canadian is $121 USD, well below the prices you quoted.

The figures I quoted in Canadian dollars were calculated at the exchange
rate for the day. They are a hell lot more accurate that the stupid
suggestion that the original poster "missed a zero off your offered
price!!!"

Instead of nitpicking why don't you redirect your efforts toward helping the
original poster??? Unless of course this is simply juvenile entertainment
on your part?

I would be glad to help, IF there were any cameras that fit his criteria,
but there aren't unless he wants to buy a broken uzi (C2100 Oly). There
aren't ANY cameras that sell, in good, operable condition, for $121 US or
less that have a 10x or 12x optical zoom. I ,ake that comment based on my
own 1000+ camera buy/sells on ebay (tompc).

Great job! Hope it works well for you. Time to get a tripod and/or a
monopod.
