Chicago is a much more central location, has excellent air and rail
connections, and plenty of conference facilities.

Charles Hohenstein

We went to a wedding in Chicago and while there went to the Botanical Gardens
where they wanted $100 per day to carry a tripod... No thanks.

Omaha is cleaner, friendlier, less-expensive and closer to the middle.

I second that, they would be better off charging for fresh
air, which is something they lack ;-)

There's always the arboretumSP? just west of the city. They don't care how
many tripods you bring. :-) In all the years of dragging my tripod around in the
city I've never had a cop give me any trouble.

Contrary to our reputation Chicago is a clean and friendly city full of friendly
people.
