Default Custom Large Glass Filter Maker

Just want to report a Good Thing for a change. I had the need for an
unusual filter and finally contacted Galvoptics, Ltd.
http://www.galvoptics.fsnet.co.uk/. They replied they could help, we worked
out the specifics, they quoted a price and _made_ it for me. I used it two
days ago and it is absolutely perfect. I'm a very happy man.

An aside - shipping from England to the USA can be precious, and I would
appreciate any tips in that regard.

Regardless of shipping and cost of manufacture, this filter was, in the end,
far less expensive than a ready-made brand that was only close in size
(142.5mm) and of the wrong color.

I'm not affiliated with Galvoptics - just reporting a resource for the rest
of us.
