And some great shots there, too.

A quick apology from me for not posting a submission (again).
I've not taken more than 6 photos in the last 3 weeks... [sigh]

I'm hoping to get back in the saddle for "backlit".

Cheers,
Steve

It never made it to me. Send it to me and I'll post it.

Aaahh, very interesting shots. I get a lot of satisfaction out of
viewing these shoot-in galleries, it provides a nice practical balance
to all the theoretical posts in this NG.

Speaking for my own shot, after having been away from camera clubs for
about 15 years, I finally decided to go along to the local club in this
town we have lived in for the last ten years, so I did that just last
week, to find that they were running a session on home portraiture 'here
are the lights, set 'em up how you want'. They were just ordinary
household lamps in reflectors, so there wasn't all that much light to
work with.

Anyway, somebody had brought along their little daughter, a cute little
poppet, who obligingly sat on the stool for me to take a few shots, and
this is one of them.

Canon EOS300D, 1600ISO, auto white balance, Pic cropped a little, no
other massaging.
