Imagine you're working in the studio, or out on the sports field and whatever shots you are taking are downloaded not to a Compact Flash card, but directly to your computer via a high speed, wireless connection of some sort. Wouldn't *that* be cool? Wow! The words were no sooner off my keyboard and the D2X has exactly that! -- Dallas www.dallasdahms.com "Going down a dirty inner city side road I plotted Madness passed me by, she smiled hi, I nodded" - Sixto Rodriguez |

Why not a direct connection to your publisher via cell phone? - As soon as you take the picture, he says, "No, that's not close enough. Go in about 30 more feet, and shoot it again, and put a little more feeling in it this time!" |

This is part of the reason why I assumed you must have meant wireless over **long distances**--because Nikon already had close proximity wireless transfer. |

I remember once, I watched my stepdaughters flight come in. When it stopped, I used a pay phone to call her on her cell. They told me: $9 for the first minute. IOWs, the equivalent of a roll of 36 would run $324. I don't see these gems flying off the shelves. Bob Hickey |
