Good lord.
I hope that's not supposed to be representative of what Auckland looks
like, nor representative of what NZ photographers are capable of.

I think DONOTREPLY may be from overseas (note reference to Euros).

I enjoyed the photos.

Perhaps I'm too fussy - eg:
http://y23stockpic.free.fr/200609-gb...923_202448.JPG
Supposed to be Motutapu - Auckland on the Horizon.
I'm not even going to waste time describing my thoughts as to why anyone
would waste the bandwidth uploading a shot like that to a stock agency.

Some nice NZ photos from a NZ amateur photog he

Spooky, spacy, glossy; art objects of a certain kind.

Some of them were OK. I didn't look at a lot. My impression was a lot of
'interesting' (read as 'tatty') building taken from low down looking up
giving a distorted perspective, maybe with a short focal length.

Cheers,

Cliff

Have you ever noticed that if something is advertised as 'amusing' or
'hilarious', it usually isn't?

They were interesting as one traveller's perspective on our country,
and some of them were quite nice.

Anyone who wants a real photogrpahic tour of NZ's landscape is
recommended to look at the website of Andris Apse

http://www.andrisapse.com/index.php

Andris looks at a landscape and then imagines it as it would appear
under certain lighting conditions, then waits until those conditions
are available.

If I could afford some of his prints I would buy them, but until my
Lotto ticket kicks in ....

As a native (i.e. born here of Anglo-Scottish-Irish extraction) New
Zealander, these images appear to be to be somewhat cynical. The
land/seascapes are reasonable, but the architecture and buildings are
not at all representative of the country, or the City of Auckland.

Some of the titles seem to be from a person whose first language isn't
English, so I guess he/she is a foreign tourist, maybe on an organized tour.
