I read this warning on my daily radio talk show last week, before the
election. It is even more relevant now, because the same thing that
was imposed on South Africa – by the United States – is now happening
here. So many people have asked for a copy of this message from a
South African journalist that I post it here. My comments on her
comments are in bold. Of course the parallels cannot be exact, but see
whether you recognize any of this.

(snip away the rest of this crap)

Raciast BS and revisionist history offered as advice! *No thanks! *Any
article in which South Africa is held to be "advanced" either now or
at any point in it's history is naive and non-sensical. *Then again,
given that ALL mankind is descended from Africans, maybe it was true.

If you don't know anyone from South Africa then I would suggest you
get to know someone. You will find that what is written in the above
article is quite factual and true.

If that is true, what a shame that South Africa has been so backward for the
last 3 decades compared to the rest of the world. I blame it on the insecure
European values if nothing else.

If only Europeans hadn't invaded so may civilizations and tried to make them
like their selves. The world would have been a better place. European values are
royally ****ed-up. As testament by the original poster.

I bet they didn't realize it would prove that.

Europeans? **** them all. They even screwed up the english language. Nothing but
a bunch of pompous self-righteous asswipes.

If that were actually true, when the Europeans pulled out of colonies,
they would not have dropped back into anarchy, blood and fire as most
did.

Your view of the "noble savage" is unrealistic, utopian and bull****.

The only challenge with dealing with people who have no self-respect is that you

You could call "political correctness" the more apparent meaning of "respect for

understand this most basic of human principles have never been too intelligent.

What certain people say THEIR concept of respect means. Which often
also means not respecting others who may have a different concept (or in
the case of many, no concept. The latter of course don't generally have
an epiphany and all of sudden become respectful).

The problems is that they've never had any self-respect so they can't be

You could have been more self-righteous and condescending if you
tried couldn't you? Shows a great lack of respect in your manner of
trying to teach respect..

Ludicrous.

It is not now and never has been necessary to have "self respect" to
respect something or someone else.

You are confusing being respectful - manners - with having respect.
Political Correctness is about showing respect, not about having respect.
It is about not creating offense, not about magically having a genuine
respect for someone you don't know or might not even like. It is absolutely
impossible to feel respect toward someone who hasn't earned it. Respect is
a form of admiration, showing respect is form of social communication.

You define cluelessness. You do it well.

Desperately? You like that word, don't you? Perhaps one day you will learn
what it really means and stop using it in an inappropriate manner.

It isn't a basic principle and it is impossible to be "too" intelligent.
However you do illustrate that being too dumb might be possible.

Political correctness is assinine! If people felt free to fully
express themselves, we would be a much happier country. It is
precisely the hypocracy of PC that leads to the many double
standards, euphemisms and code words people are forced to use in
order to avoid being labeled something heinous.

As for respect, there are really two kinds: that which one can
demand by virtue of their rank or title, as in Mr. President, and
the kind that one can COMMAND by virtue of having earned it. No one
can legislate morality as was best seen by Prohibition so no matter
what the blather about how historic the election was this time
around, the same people who lack respect still lack respect. I will
call Barack Hussein Obama "Mr. President" and will refer to him as
"President Obama" once he takes the oath of office. I will also
stop insulting him. Now, whether he is ever able to earn my respect
is another matter. So far, the jury is IN and he is a man of very
low morals with delusions of Godhood.

You could call "political correctness" the more apparent
meaning of "respect for others", but they still wouldn't be

I strongly believe that the number of stupid people is rising
exponentially. And, that includes ALL the forms of stupidity.

Fascinating rant from a Leftist apologist who didnt get any respect
when he was a kid. If Id had to guess..Id say he had bad skin, no
social skills and went to band camp.

Yes, but what the Yankees have done to the English language is nothing
less than a travesty.
