I think the problem is elsewhere, not your news server. I have two,
and your post is the only one received by both of them in the past 24

The activity level isn't that high, and I've noticed that people have
been posting film oriented questions over on the 35mm group.

(1) Might want to google groups that one.

(2) I would be more interested if you ran your own tests and got back
to the group with your conclusions. Film is such a personal thing.
