Default FA: Photographer's Formulary Fixer 24, a NON-HARDENING fixer for toning in selenium, polysolphide, sepia, etc.

Are you the kind of photographer who fixes prints in whatever's handy,
and then wonders why they don't TONE like they're supposed to -- and
they don't SPOT easily, either? That's because you're using a
hardening fixer.

So what SHOULD you do? Use a NON-HARDENING FIXER like this
Photographer's Formulary Fixer 24, based on the Kodak F-24 formula.

As PF says, "Hardening is neither necessary nor desirabe for prints.
Without hardening, both hypo and the development by-products will wash
out of the gelatin readily. In addition, a non-hardened print is easy
to tone and to spot. Fixer 24 is an excellent choice for archival
processing."

This is a high-capacity, fast-working fixer. This (unopened) package
makes 4.24 quarts of working solution. Instructions are included.
