Compressing directory with WinRar
Does WinRar compression cause any information loss in TIF or RAW files
as saving to JPG does? Thanks Mike

Compressing directory with WinRar
I found that winrar reduces the TIF files by 20 % +, and as I have
thousands of TIF's I think it should make enough difference overall. Since I started losing some of my original JPGs I have been copying to TIF to reduce the chances of losing photos. You could rar or zip your tif-files, but they will never get any smaller as the raw-files. When you zip them, nothing will be altered to your tifs when you unrar them.
