Default Keeping films in fridge?

I have heard from many people that keeping the films in the fridge (i.e.
4°C) is the best way.

Better still: keep them in the freezer (-15 to -20°C) and they'll last even
longer.

I have an opportunity to purchase Superia dated (expired) 11/2003 at a very
good price. half what it costs me now to purchase it from the cheapest
supplier. Do you think i should go ahead and do so?

I don't mind refrigerating or freezing it. Do you think it'll be usable?

Not if you let it warm to room temperature before you open the foil package.

No, if you let it warm up to room temperature before tearing it open.

It has been mentioned befo simply do not open the packing until the film
has warmed up and there's no problem.
