Thanks for the tips. It was such a good idea to look at negatives in
absence of a loop. The test shos that the negatives are free for the
the problem.

magnifying glass. If the light's in the negative, then it's the camera, and
vice-versa.

occasionally people get film ruined by inexeprienced or careless
