They are telling their story.

The difference is that the person pretended to be an individual who
posted those photos was a fraud. The pictures and professionally done
music effects were orchestrated by the Iranian government.
This is clearly dishonest.

Are they forgeries? NO!.
Are they from inside Iran? YES!

I don't think anyone looking at those pictures of Iran are getting
misty eyed. Pretty crappy pics and weak PR piece. So who was duped?

Read that article I linked, and ask yourself about the integrity of
the American government. We have been duped by our own government;
they have it down and don't need any help from Iran.

newsgroup and pretending they were from some individual.
I have no objection if the Iranian government posts pictures to this
newsgroup. I object to the fraudulent pretense that it was not from
the Iranian government.
