Should I buy a MAMIYA 7 II or use my Nikon D300

A lot of points have been made already...

While the Mamiya 7 (or 7II, not really that much difference) is
excellent, maybe even wonderful (I own one with 65+80mm lenses), I
wonder if another kind of MF camera would be more suitable for
shooting interiors. If you don't have to buy it new, there's a lot of
great stuff out there, such as the Mamiya RB/RZ systems that allow a
lot of flexibility (in terms interchangeable backs and viewfinders,
helicoid focusing, wide range of lenses, the whole works), and no
longer cost neither an arm nor a leg to buy. Also systems from Pentax,
Fuji (the 6x8 ones), Hasselblad, Rollei spring instantly to mind.

Actually I don't know THAT much about interior shooting, I guess
perspective control is not a required feature? If it was, some kind
of technical camera along the lines of Linhof Super Technika might
be in order.


The Mamiya 7/7II would be, and IS, my #1 choice when one has to
lug it around outdoors though.
