What I thought while watching the image slowly form (thanks to
dialup) before reaching the "Reasoning" part, was that I'd like to
have seen "No Tools Required" below "Christian Assembly" instead of
"An Oasis . . ."

Don't agree with the message (I am a Christian, myself, and seem to
remember God saying He wants us to reason things out with Him
(possibly the Old testament, but I don't remember the biblical
address), and Paul saying "test all things according to scripture" - I
don't believe in the "ostrich syndrome" and I don't like the pre-
frontal lobotomy subtext that either they might be implying and/or I
might be inferring that one has to leave reason behind to become (or
even remain) a Christian (or any other faith for that matter), it
seems kind of "rednecky" and "whacky" to me like a sign that would say
"abandon all reason, ye who enter here, please deposit brain with
tithe in tithing dish" (if I wanted to deposit my brain in a "dish"
I'd just get satellite tv - more mindnumbing channels to choose
from ;-)), suffice it to say I'd probably head on down to the next
church that doesn't penalize me for firing off a few neurons with
genuine questions/etc. I might have) -- - but I quite like the shot,
even though its a bit of a record shot. That aside, pretty sign,
though. Which camera/lens/ISO/aperture/shutterspeed did you use? Lens?
Original capture in Raw or jpeg?

The luscious saturated color says Minolta but otherwise I say...
Minolta (Kinolta, Sonyolta, John Travolta) :-)

I'd agree 100% with the phrase. Even educated Jesuits (a far cry from
the f------- idiots who make up groups like the Moral Majority) would
agree that faith is faith and it isn't reason.

Ah, that explains much. Your odd, if not bizarre opinions about
cameras and photography aren't based on reason. They're faith based.

Well ... a run of exiftool on the downloaded image says (in
part):

================================================== ====================
Make : KONICA MINOLTA
Camera Model Name : MAXXUM 7D
Modify Date : 2007:07:29 10:21:07-04:00
Creator Tool : Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows
Create Date : 2007:07:29 10:21:07-04:00
Metadata Date : 2007:07:29 10:21:07-04:00
================================================== ====================

So you seem to have called the camera model -- unless it can be
forged in Photoshop, and I see little reason to do that.

Enjoy,
DoN.

I don't see any reason the two can't coexist, but you'll have to take
my reasoning on faith ;-) :-).
