FS: 35mm Movie Film Viewer (Steenbeck/Moviola)
The item up for sale is an "AFP Imaging Cine View 35mm Angiographic
Viewing System," originally intended for use in a Hospital for X-Ray fluroscopy. This medical-grade 35mm motion picture viewer is in excellent condition, and is equipped with a veri-speed dial for any frame rate between 0 and 48 fps (frames per second) either forward or backward. There is a bi-directional step frame control (one frame forward/back), Auto-Stop feature, A/B film path selection (A/B roll), and a lamp dimmer. The machine also (of course) has a focus control and frame adjust control. As a viewer for 35mm Motion Picture film, it shows full-aperature on-screen, including the analog audio stripe(s) for optical audio prints (viewer does not play analog audio, stripes are visible on screen). The viewer uses a rotating prism, and is therefore capable of play-back at ANY speed from 0 to 48 frames per second forwards or backwards (like 30fps, 29.97fps, 25 fps, if you can find it on the dial you can play it) not just selected speeds. I will most likely accept the best offer I receive. Enquiries (and offers) should be directed to: |
