First, sorry for my bad english since i am a chinese from Hong Kong.
I am going to go north of the china for travel next month. The temperture is only around -20C. I don't know whether my Contax G2 can work in such enviroment. Does anyone have any experience? Thanks for your help in advance! |

No, it won't. Get a Leica M7.

Contax makes a nice accessory battery back (look on eBay). Put the battery pack in your pocket, tether the cord to the camera. It's cheaper than getting a M7. keoj |

Yes, the pocket battery pack is meant exactly for that.
In fact, in such cold weather, G2's auto-focus could be better fit than the manual focus -- for your finger's sack. keoj wrote: Contax makes a nice accessory battery back (look on eBay). Put the battery pack in your pocket, tether the cord to the camera. It's cheaper than getting a M7. keoj |
