Nikon Quandary: D60 or D200?
In article
, seth1066 wrote: D60 body is on Amazon by Cameta Cameras, new for $463. The D200 body can be had on Ebay for $450-650 used, some with relatively low (claimed) sub-10K-20K shutter actuations. The use is serious non-pro and a replacement/stepping stone for a heavily used D100 (I have plenty of DX glass) to eventual used D3 or D700 in a year or two. What would you do in this situation? the d200 is a far more capable camera than the d60 and both are a step up in image quality from the d100. if you're looking towards a d3/d700 you might find the d60 feature set to be limiting. on the other hand, waiting for a good deal on ebay can be a pain. also consider a used d80 or stretching the budget to a d90. |

Nikon Quandary: D60 or D200?
A little more and you can buy a new D90 body. It's not pro build, but it's
better in image quality, especially in low light. -- Dimitris M Yeah, I'm leaning towards the D200. 5 available from 599 to 680 on |
