Default Preserving Bellows Leather

Hello,

I am the happy new owner of a working Zeiss Ikonta 6x9 folding camera
with Novar lens and Prontor shutter. Two questions.

(a) The bellows leather is supple and light proof and I would like to
keep it that way. Any suggestions on how to treat it? I live in a fairly
dry climate.

(b) The serial number of the camera is T80147. Does anyone know when it
would have been made? I am guessing early 1950s.

Many thanks for any advice.

Stewart
