Default Lytro focus fixing camera.

I wonder if it will occur to the company that they could use a wide
aperture but uncorrected lens with no focusing mechanism?

Or a big pinhole - or nothing at all in front of the micro-lenses? I'm
sure they'll have considered all such possibilities.

"Focus fixing" isn't quite what they're aiming for; the concept seems to
be more like a hologram but using incoherent ambient light - and a lot of
computer-power. They seem to have a working prototype, but no indication
yet as to when a commercial product might appear or how much it will cost.
