You'll find some of my B&W shots at www.pbase.com/hlockwood. There is
even a shot of a popular recent topic here, a lighthouse.

Feel free to comment. (Need I have added that?)

Some very nice work there.

Some of them seem to work very well as B/W, I love "Gradener". I
think
man on Stairs is also good and works well with B/W.

Some of them I would have really liked to have seen in color, such as
"Shed". I think the contrast between the green plants growing up
around
it and the different shades of brown of the shed and the cement mixer
might have been very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

Harry,
Very nice work. Some bring back memories of childhood for me. Some
show a future as well.

Tone and contrast, from as I can tell on my monitor, are right on the
mark. Sharpness in the details, again on my monitor, seem tight on the
subject with a little fall off behind. I like.

Keep at it and I'll be looking for more in the future.

Draco

Getting even isn't good enough.

You have some great images there Harry. I like the Boy looking at the
Bust and the Gardener. They both tell a story. A lot of your pics
lean on the journalistic side of photography and that's something I
admire. What kind of equipment did you use?

Very nice work Harry. Helen is correct in saying your photos lean on
the journalistic side of photography. Was the 'Dig' at the WTC Site?
If so, how did you gain access? Keep up the good work.

Boston, it is not just any dig it is the "Big dig", Which I believe is
just
about done now.
