Default Film is dead!

Wow with that 16mp 1Ds pretty much puts the last nail in the coffin, looks
like film is dead well except for Nikon users, the F6 is now out.

I use film myself. But are there any tests on the web which shows that 35mm
film can resolve more detail than a 6-11MP camera?
What about Erwin Puts and his Leica M lenses?

What would change if they did or didn't? Would your analog cameras stop
working? Would it have any influence on your sperm count? Why don't you
simply go and take some pictures?
