You keep show your ignorance about the muslim world, William. Wonder
if FLY will acknowledge your are wrong with this remark....

Well Al-Qaeda was in bed with the Taliban and that remark suited them just
fine. I think that assuming the insurgents, freedom fighters, terrorists,
et al would treat their society the same way is not that ignorant. Even
though you say that you have addressed specific issues about why the
terrorists do what they do, I disagree. I've seen you post nothing about
what their goals and motivations are oither than a bin Laden quote and
general references to hurting their pride.

My question to you is instead of calling people ignorant, why don't you

tell
them their are incorrect and then convey what you believe to be the

correct
answer? If you can drop the angry insultive replies, I'll drop the
terrorist sympathizer and then can discuss it and agree or disagree as we
choose.

Yes. - And one of their, "goals and motivations" was/is to run airliners
into our buildings and kill as many of us as they can. This is enough
motivation for me to want my army to go to their part of the world and take
them over and get rid of them. Today, (for a few more months at least), I
have a President who is willing to do just that. Who knows what I will have
in 2005.

Maybe Kerry will get elected and we can go back to being the "Paper Tiger".

Another 4 years of spending on war, increasing budget deficit, getting
closer to a police-state? Have fun with it. In the mean time, the
people in the free world will laugh at you Not to mention, the
constant state of fear your government creates; I am sure Osama will
really enjoy that.

That's an overstated misconception on your part.

You overestimate the attraction considerably.

I have a friend who has a long-distance relationship with a guy in San
Diego. But she has serious doubt to move to the US to marry him, given
how rotten the situation is in the country right now. And the fun is,
he understands her fears quite well.
The ones who want to come in via a green card, are usually uneducated
opportunity seekers. Anyone with half a brain, doesn't want to go to a
police-state anymore.

You'll find out soon if you re-elect shrub. Go for it, I beg you, and
let the guy bring your country on its knees. As you see nowadays, the
US is pretty much alone in their self-appointed role as great defender
of freedom of people, and that is a costly business. I bet your taxes
will start rising, after Bush is re-elected, to finance his wars. If
that happens, you got what you deserved. But it might of course be
you don't mind to pay extra taxes to sent your soldiers overseas...
