It's because most (all?) newsreaders lack the ability to do the word wrap before applying the quoting character. When the quoted line wraps, the continuations don't show the quoting character, sometimes making it a bit harder to see the extent of a quote. : Sorry, not changing again. Not a big deal, though you'll be known to all as the perpetrator of a cosmetic nuisance. As long as others are interested in what you have to say, they may grouse a bit, but they won't stop reading your articles. Bob |
