Very nice. I would have liked to have seen the first stream photo with
a shorter exp. time as well. (Not that you overdid it).

Rented. Duh. Like I got $2K to blow on a new lens, especially a
Nikon lens.
This lens is pretty sweet, but I'm afraid that if I owned it I would
have to use it on a Nikon body. It's a real PITA to manually focus
and expose when you don't know what the aperture is.

Take a look at the Tokina wide zoom. Killer, especially for the money.
