Use your competitive system to buy insurance from someone who will

I considered that at one time, but it was dangerous then, and today it is
completely impossible unless you are worth over 100 million dollars. (and,
even then, you'd better have most of it hidden in gold buried in your back
yard.) In this litigious society, you will lose your millions in a New York
Minute should you have an even minor accident.

What my brother-in-law did was a better solution. Every morning, he would
telephone the secretary at his insurance company's accounting department,
and change the car on his policy to the one he intended to use that day. He
knew the lady by name...."Mary, this is Ed. I am taking the Peugeot
today." - "OK Ed, Its taken care of".
