I am not a joiner mainly because I can't find any group that agrees with me on everything, so I don't want to be identified with them because people will think that I believe in those things that they believe that I disagree with. So, I seldom join any group. Which means that I have no power. For example, people think: Graham = Libertarian = conservative = religious nut. And, I am, in fact, an atheist. Is the word :compromise" in your vocabulary? Sure, but I can't compromise on the existence of a God. You either believe in one or you do not, so what's your point? I find your statement amazing. Earlier in this thread you claimed to be a member of the T.P. I thought that meant Tea Party, but I guess you were referring to some Native American dwelling condominium. I sent the TP 100 bucks a month or two ago. So, they made me a member, and now aI get emails from them all the time... So what's your point? You also are very quick to pin the label "liberal" on anyone who disagrees with anything you say. Right. I can spot a liberla a block away. I can smell the way they think, almost like they were burning wood. They are quick to get annoyed at me for not following their stupid unenforceable laws like a puppy dog. Whenever I see or hear of a law, my first thoughts are, "Why is this law on the books" "Who does it protect?" and, "How does it restrict my freedom?" and, "How would I get away with breaking it if I needed to?" This always angers any good liberal, because their attitude is, "If its a law, then it must have a good purpose, and I should obey it out of hand." I guess under your definition you are the only non-liberal in the world. What a lonely existence. Not at all. I play my horn in the senior citizens dance band at two senior clubs every week. Of all those I know there there is only one liberal. the other 20 or so that I know are all quite conservative, and a few are even libertarians. I am quite comfortable talking and interacting with them. They have a common sense that can only come from many years of living and working in an ever increasing socialistic environment. They see where we are headed and they don't like it. |
