Although this post is technically off topic I'd like to take a moment to
post an advertisement for the midwest large format group. We are multi national group (one of our members live in Italy. :-)) of people involved in large format photography. As a group we have active members in four states and members in six states and two countries. We are an unusualSP? group in that we have no rules. Being the rugged individualists that us in the midwest are known for being we have no rules, dues or even leaders. As a group we have three things that bind us together as a group. The first is a website www.midwestlargeformat.com, a mailing list ( instructions for joining the list are on our website. You can also send me email asking to be added to the list) and monthly photo outings. If you live in the midwest and are looking for other large format enthusiasts you want to consider taking a look at our website, join our mailing list and joining us on a photo outing. Members of out group range from rank beginners to people with 30+ years of involvement in LF photography. More then a couple of out members are professional photographers. To a person every one of us are willing and happy to answer every question involving Lf photography. I recommend that everyone reading this post check out our website, join our mailing list and if you're in the midwest join us on one of our photo outings. I personally challenge everyone reading this to join us on a photo outing and not learn something or joining our mailing list and have a question not answered. As a side note more then one member of the group as pulled me aside and told me that I'm very different in person then I am on the usenet. :-) -- Keep working millions on welfare depend on you ------------------- |
