Computer control of Nikon D70
I am not familiar with the D70, but I think when you hook it up to the
computer, Windows sees it as a disk drive. Are you looking also to have the computer tell the camera to take the pictures? Jeff "Farshad" wrote in message om... I would like to capture images on Nikon D70 and download under full computer control. I am aware that Nikon has a remote control software, but I want to control the camera under software control with no human intervention. Does anyone know if there is API that I can use in my own software? Has anyone done this before? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Farshad |

Computer control of Nikon D70
An API is available fromm Nikon but it is not available to the general
public, you have to fill out a request form, and must be a company. See there web site. "Farshad" wrote in message om... Computer control of Nikon D70
Nikon Capture can do a remote control of the D70 including automatic
download after the picture has been taken. Some other Nikon (coolpix) could be controlled by the Krinnicam software http://krinnicam.cjb.net/ Also this program downloads automatically after taking the photo(s) You might give that a try, it's cheap (free) Uffe "Farshad" wrote in message om...
