Default Waterproof cases for DSLR

Greetings everyone!

In around a month I am going to be traveling tropical environment. I
will be spending a fair amount of time in a rain forest, where heavy
precipitation will be daily. I also may be spending some time in the
ocean. While I don't plan on submerging my Canon Digital Rebel in
water, it would be nice to have some sort of a water proof case so I
can take photos in the wet environments that I will be visiting.

I've been reading up on the Aquapac case, such as this one at B&H,
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...e_for_SLR.html

I've also seen a few of the Ewe-Marine cases. Does anyone have any
personal experience with either of these brands?

I realize that there are professional (and expensive) cases out there,
but I am looking for something reliable that is within a few hundred
bucks. I'm open to any and all recommendations and advice. Thanks!

I have ruined two cameras in Ewa-Marine cases.

For that kind of money, I would get a dedicated underwater point & shoot.
